Tatsumi: (My own project…)

(I do have a vague idea of what I want to do. First off, I better tell the rest of ALKALOID about the conversation between me and Eichi-san)

(What I’m worried about the most is whether or not it’s okay to include my own personal anecdotes into the project, or—)

Aira: (off-screen) C’mon, Hiro-kun, just change your clothes already!!

Tatsumi: (…oh? Was that Aira-san?)

Aira: Seriously! Does Hiro-kun really have no common sense!? None!?

It took forever to apply any sense into Hiro-kun!!

So tell me why the hell you were wearing short sleeves on such cold day!?

Hiiro: Umu….? Did I do something wrong?

It’s still pretty hot in the afternoon at this time of year, and I was planning to go for a run as a warm-up. I thought it’ll be okay to wear short sleeves.

I changed my clothes like Aira told me to, but I might get sweaty and get them all dirty. I thought that if I wore short sleeves, I could just change into long ones later after I ran.

Aira: Seriously, you’re such a simple-minded idiot.

Hiro-kun, please have more self-awareness as a celebrity! Even elementary students wouldn’t wear half-sleeve shirts in winter!

Mayoi: Ah, uh… I get what Aira-san is saying, but you don’t have to say it that harshly. I’m sure Hiiro-san understands, right?

Aira: I can’t just take it easy, Mayo-san! If we leave Hiro-kun alone without tackling the problem head-on, it’ll definitely leave a bad cause-and-effect…!

There’s such thing as a TPO for clothing, too, so you gotta wear stuff that fits into that as well!

Hiiro: TPO… Do you mean Time, Place, and Occasion? Even clothing follows that as well?1

I’m not too familiar with it yet, but I’ll keep it in mind.

So, about this TPO——what type of clothes should I wear if I want to go for a run during this time of year?

Aira: You have practice clothes, don’t you? What do you think those were for?

Hiiro: Fumu. The practice clothes are suitable according to the TPO.

But the practice uniform is also a mix of a short-sleeved T-shirt and a hoodie, though.

Does that mean I can’t take off my hoodie when I run?

Or is it okay to wear short-sleeves if it’s practice wear?

Aira: Uh, I guess…

A-anyways, the point is that short sleeves are not good! What happens if you end up sick?!

An idol’s health is their wealth2, so don’t go get yourself a cold!

Tatsumi: Well, looks like everyone is gathered here today. What were you all talking about?

Hiiro: Tatsumi-senpai.

We’re just talking about how to dress according to the TPO.

Aira: Tattsun-senpai, please listen to me. Hiro-kun was trying to go for a run in short sleeves.

Mayo-san and I were out walking when we saw Hiro-kun about to go out with a thin layer of clothing, so I stopped him in a hurry. He’d catch a cold if he tries to out with short sleeves in this season.

Tatsumi: I see. It’s true that the temperature’s been dropping drastically these past few days.

If you wear long sleeves, you can simply just roll them up when you feel too hot, but it’ll be difficult to adjust anything if you wear short sleeves instead.

As they all say, your health is your wealth2. You’d want to take care of both your body and your temperature as you exercise and train it everyday.

Aira: Exactly, that’s what I wanted to say!

You never know when the temperature is going to drop, so always make sure you have a hoodie with you!

Hiiro: Umu? That seems a bit different from what you were saying earlier, though…2

Mayoi: Either way, I’m glad this debate is sorted out.

I was so nervous watching the two of them, but then Tatsumi-san came and saved it…!

Tatsumi: It’s nothing, I didn’t do much. I just happened to be passing by and expressed my opinion.

Rather than that, everyone; I have something to discuss with you all. Is that alright?

Hiiro: ? What is it, Tatsumi-senpai?

Aira: If it’s coming from Tattsun-senpai, then I’ll listen to anything he says. C’mon, talk to us ♪

Tatsumi: Actually, I was thinking about me launching our next live project.

On the way back from my doctor’s appointment, I met up with Eichi-san. When we made small talk, he said he wanted to see what kind project I would come up with.

To be upfront, I don’t know if that was an order from him as the manager, or if it was simply a statement from an idol fan.

However, it’s true that our fans will be waiting for something new from us. Aira-san’s “Feather Touch” was very successful, and I do want my turn to be next.

With all that said; is it alright for me to plan our next live?

Aira: Oh my god, really?! Does that mean Tattsun-senpai will be the lead in our next live? What a rabu~i!

I give my approval! Mayo-san and Hiro-kun also agree to this, right? Right??

Mayoi: Y-yes, of course! Rather, I’m wondering if I should be allowed to stand on such a stage…!

Tatsumi: Fufu. Of course, I can’t imagine an ALKALOID live without Mayoi-san in it.

Hiiro: I’d like to see a live planned by Tatsumi-senpai as well.

May I ask for what kind of live you have in mind?

Tatsumi: Of course, I’d be happy to tell you ♪

Notes:
1 Time, Place, Occasion (TPO) is something that is used for etiquette in Japan, such as dining, interactions, and, yes, clothing.

2 [身体は資本], or “your health is your wealth”, is a pretty straightforward proverb, interpreted in two different ways by Aira and Tatsumi; your health is very important to take care of, since it’s literally how we’re even alive, being Tatsumi’s interpretation. In another sense, the way Aira sees it, is that to be able to work for wealth, your health needs to be in a good condition to do so. Both are objectively right.
