[One day, in early November]

Tatsumi: …There wasn’t anything concerning to be seen during this checkup.
It's been a while since I came back as an idol, but I'm glad that my legs hasn’t been affected by it.
I’m even fortunate enough to hear that the doctor thinks that my successful activities with ALKALOID may be linked to the good condition of my legs.
It’s said that illnesses are often linked to the mind. My mindset has been very optimistic lately, so my body must’ve followed suit as well…♪
Anyways, it’s really starting to feel like autumn has arrived.
Perhaps I should buy a hot drink from a vending machine and warm myself up on the way home. I’m already on a pretty good comeback, I wouldn’t want a cold or something similar to hinder my good performance.
I wonder if there’s any outer vending machines around here—oh?

Eichi: …Kazehaya-kun?
Tatsumi: Eichi-san, what a coincidence. Are you also getting a checkup at the hospital, too?
Eichi: Indeed. I’ve been very busy with management and being an idol on top of it all lately. The doctor requires me to come for checkups frequently due to it.
Since you’re here as well, I’m assuming you came to check on your leg. How did it go?
Tatsumi: Fufu. Thanks to you, I’m doing quite well.
From what the doctor said, apparently my leg is healing up in such a speed that hasn’t been seen before.
ALKALOID’s work has been going very smoothly, which may be the reason for the rapid recovery.
Eichi: I agree. You even made an appearance at the Underland live as well.
Thank you for all of your hard work at the live. ALKALOID has grown a lot over these past few months.
Tatsumi: Thank you for your kind words, but we have a long way to go.
ALKALOID still has a lot of potential growth. If we get even a little cocky about this, you’ll just give us another reason to get fired again, won’t you, Eichi-san?
Eichi: Ahaha. C’mon, I won’t pull the same trick twice.
But I suppose that as long as Kazehaya-kun thinks that way about me, I can feel a bit more confident.
With that said, I’m also glad that you’re continuing your efforts on your return as an idol after overcoming your injury.
I’d love to see you come forward and perform at the center again…… For example, at a live that you’ve planned and led yourself.
It’s common at Yumenosaki for students to plan the performances themselves, but I’ve heard that’s not the case for Reimei…… I look forward to see what your stage would look like.
Tatsumi: Is that a direct order? Or is it something that you’re interested in as a colleague of mine?
Eichi: Fufu, you’re being too cautious. Of course, if ALKALOID, the trump card’s soldiers, wants me to give them an order, I’ll gladly oblige.
I’m just someone who dearly loves idols. Is it so strange of me to want to see the full potential of you, who was once called the revolutionary prodigy of Reimei Academy?
Tatsumi: That’s a story of the past. Now, I’m just a member of ALKALOID.
With the four of us that makes up ALKALOID, we aim to continue delivering to the audience wonderful performances—that is our goal.
Eichi: Fufu. You don’t have to hold back. If you put your mind to it, you can be the protagonist, the writer, or whatever you want of the story you’re telling.
—Oh. I haven’t had nearly enough to say yet, but it’s almost my turn to meet with the doctor.
See you soon. Next time we meet, let’s continue our conversation about idols, shall we?
Tatsumi: Of course. Now, if you’ll excuse me, Eichi-san.

Tatsumi: ………….
(Hm. I thought Eichi-san was giving me his opinion as my superior, but was it really just small talk?)
(It’s not that easy to tell. Everyone has their own social and private lifestyles, after all.)
(It’s difficult to differentiate one of Eichi-san’s side from the other, and you can never really tell if he means what he’s saying or something else entirely.)
(I…never actually thought about launching a project by myself. But it wouldn’t be too bold to say that anticipation for it might be growing.)
(Just a few weeks ago, Aira-san had launched a wonderful live called “Feather Touch”.)
……Fufu. After just a few minutes of small talk, he has already given us a new task to work on. Eichi-san sure is a great manager, and he pays such attention to his surroundings.
Quite fortunately, I don’t have any other plans this afternoon. Maybe I should consider this project at least for a bit.
…A project that is unique to me, after overcoming such a serious injury—for example, it might be an interesting idea to base it off on what’d happened at this hospital.
To tell “that girl”, who’s been turned into a ghost during my stay in the hospital, that I have returned as an idol.
Isn’t that a good idea? Ghost-san?
