Notes:
"Soiya" (ソイヤ) is what people would shout while carrying a mikoshi during a traditional Japanese summer festival. It doesn’t have a definite meaning.

“Wasshoi” (ワッショイ), like “Soiya”, also has no definable meaning, but a popular theory for the word is “Carry Peace”. Again, it’s a chant that is most commonly used during a traditional Japanese summer festival while carrying a mikoshi (also one of Madara’s catchphrases).

Kanata speaks and writes in purely hiragana; almost never in kanji or katakana. This (apparently?) also applies to his singing, too; translated literally,「すくいましょ〜」would mean “let’s scoop~”, and「ひともきんぎょも」means “human goldfish”. That wouldn’t make sense, which is why I took creative liberties with his part.

A mikoshi is a portable shrine that Shinto followers believe to transport a deity, namely a kami (god), in Japan.

“Ryusei” (流星) in Japanese means “meteor”; “Ryuseitai” (流星隊) means “meteor corps”. So yes, “ryusei” does have a meaning. I just chose to not translate it in this instance for it to match with the unit’s name.
